Deep tissue massage is a technique used to treat deeper layers of muscle to relieve tension and pain. Deep tissue massage uses slow and firm pressure to target tissue surrounding muscles such as tendons and fascia.
Sports massage focuses on enhancing circulation, increasing tissue elasticity, and reducing muscle tension. Sports massage is also used to help relieve tight muscles. Muscle tightness can limit flexibility, increase pain, and cause future injuries.
Kinesiology Taping is used to aid muscle movement. It's a thin, flexible tape that is meant to relieve pain, reduce swelling and inflammation, and provide support to joints and muscles. Kinesiology Tape was originally developed to enhance athletic performance.
STR is a technique which actively stretches muscle fibres, tendons, and fascia. It involves repeatedly and quickly stretching small areas of soft tissue by applying precise pressure to the muscle and then moving it to stretch it.
The primary aim of STR is to remove physical (adhesive) restrictions in the muscle to increase its range of movement and mobility.
Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) is a highly specialized form of massage therapy that utilizes treatment to find and release trigger points in muscles and tendons that are causing pain and dysfunction in the body.
Dry Cupping is an ancient therapeutic technique that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. During a cupping session, the cups are placed on specific areas of the body andsuctioned to create a vacuum effect. This suction draws the skin and underlying tissues into the cups, causing localized congestion and increased blood flow to the area. Cupping helps release toxins, improve circulation, and promote healing. It can be used to alleviate muscle tension, reduce pain, and promote relaxation.
Dry needling and Medical Acupuncture are both therapeutic techniques that involve the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body. However, they differ in their underlying principles and applications.
Dry Needling is a technique primarily used to treat musculoskeletal conditions. It targets trigger points, which are tight knots of muscle fibres that can cause pain and dysfunction. By inserting needles into these trigger points, dry needling aims to release tension, improve blood flow, and promote the healing process.
Medical Acupuncture is a component of traditional Chinese medicine that has been practiced for thousands of years. It is based on the concept of balancing the flow of energy, or Qi, through meridians in the body. Acupuncture needles are inserted into specific points along these meridians to restore the balance of Qi and promote overall health and well-being.

Over the past 20+ years I've helped many people build their confidence and fitness to help them achieve their goals.
My passion is about helping others to move better so they can live a better, more active life.
A few years ago, I damaged my back and was unable to walk, through sports therapy I was able to get back to living an active life again.
This is where my passion started as a Sports Therapist, that feeling of not being able to move and do all the things I took for granted, made me want to help others.
I am a Level 4 Sports Massage Therapist and Level 3 Personal Trainer.
